Mr. Simmermon is a resident of Pilesgrove Township beginning his thirteenth year as Freeholder.
He and his wife Mary Ann have three children. Mr. Simmermon attended Glassboro High School, Davis & Elkins College, and Salem County Community College.
He is a Dupont Chamber Works retiree now doing contract work as an instrument mechanic for Ives Equipment Corp.
He served twelve years on the Pilesgrove Township Committee, six years of which he served as Mayor.
He has coached Little League baseball and football. He delivers Meals on Wheels and is a member of the Sportsmen's Club. He enjoys playing tennis, gardening and enjoying his grandchildren.
