Presents Full Day Training Program:

Disaster Preparedness for Mental Health Responders

This three hour course is intended for crisis counselors seeking to further develop their disaster mental health "tool kit", which will allow them to work more effectively in the early stages of a disaster. The second half-day course is designed for mental health and other affiliated professionals as an advanced course in disaster mental health intervention. In the event of a crisis that necessitates a coordinated mental health response, this information will provide guidance on how to participate as a mental health responder within the larger system.
