Program: This half-day program is designed for mental health and other affiliated professionals as an introduction to the key concepts in disaster mental health intervention consistent with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)-Center for Mental Health Service’s (CMHS) Crisis Counseling Program model (CCP) with a specific focus on rural communities. Areas of instruction include:

Trainer: Steve Crimando, MA, BCETS, is a Disaster Field Operations Supervisor for Project Phoenix-New Jersey's FEMA-funded mental health response to the World Trade Center disaster. He is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He is a consultant and trainer with the U.S. Department of Justice-Office of Victims of Crime and has coordinated various aspects of the mental health response to the TWA flight 800 crash; the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and most recently the September 11th attacks and bio-terror incidents in Central New Jersey.

FROM INTERSTATE 295 HEADING SOUTH
From I-295 take exit 4 (Penns Grove-Woodstown) Heading toward 48 East to Route 40. Take Route 40 until it intersects with Route 40 and 45. Make a right on route 45 going about 1-˝ miles. Make a left on Cemetery Road and you will see the Salem County Department of Emergency Services on your right. (It is a two story brick building with three towers behind it. The entrance is the same as the Salem County Correctional Facility.)

FROM INTERSTATE 295 HEADING NORTH (FROM DELAWARE)
From I-295 North take the last exit before the toll gate and head on Route 40 East. Take Route 40 until it intersects with Routes 40 and 45. Make a right on route 45 going about 1-˝ miles. Male a left on Cemetery Road and you will see the Salem County Department of Emergency Services on your right. (It is a two story brick building with three towers behind it. The entrance is the same as the Salem County Correctional Facility.)

FROM THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE HEADING SOUTH
Get off of exit 1 heading for Atlantic City using Route 40 East. Take Route 40 until it intersects with Route 40 and 45. Make a right on Route 45 going about 1/1/2 miles. Make a left on Cemetery Road and you will the Salem County Department of Emergency Services on your right. (It is a two story brick building with three towers behind it. The entrance is the same as the Salem County Correctional Facility.)

FROM GLASSBORO AREA
Take 322 West to Mullica Hill and turn left onto Route 45 South through Woodstown. Make a right at the light in the center of Woodstown. Continue on 45 South where Route 45 and Route 40 intersects (at WaWa) continue straight for 1 ˝ miles. Make a left on Cemetery Road and you will see the Salem County Department of Emergency Services on your right. (It is a two story brick building with three towers behind it. ELMER AREA
Take 40 West to the light in the center of Woodstown where Routes 40 and 45 intersect. Go straight through the light and you are now on Route 45 South.
